How does it work?

Together with you, VraagWijzer will determine the best option for solving your problems.

VraagWijzer can also help you get your affairs in order yourself. For example, by looking at the advice on the NIBUD website . Or you can visit one of the other websites with lots of information about financial matters and (help with) debt.

Home administration

For help with managing your finances (money matters), you can also contact Sociom for support with home administration.

Immediate assistance with eviction or closure

Are you unable to meet your fixed expenses such as rent, energy, and water, and have you fallen behind on your payments? In that case, the municipality will always be informed that an eviction is going to take place or that there is a risk of water and/or energy being cut off. If this is the case, you will be immediately referred to Verder (formerly PLANgroep). You will always receive written notification of this.

For entrepreneurs

If you are self-employed, you can request debt assistance from your accountant, a lawyer, a credit institution, or the Institute for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises. You may also be able to apply for assistance under the Self-Employed Persons Assistance Decree (Bbz). You can apply for this at Werkzaak in Tiel.
