Request or change a house number
What is it?
If you have purchased or rented a newly built home and you don’t know your house number, contact your local municipality to find out. You should also do this if you need an additional house number because you are dividing your home.
What should I do?
- You can request your house number from the municipality.
- If you are building a new home, renovating your home, or planning to subdivide your property, you will also need a (new) house number. In that case, you should submit your application (for a new house number) along with your application for an environmental permit or a subdivision permit.
