Avri Heat Plan in effect from Tuesday, August 12, through Friday, August 14, due to expected heat
Please place your trash container by the curb before 6:30 a.m. on these days. Recycling centers close at 2:00 p.m.
Through its heat plan, Avri is taking measures to ensure that employees can work safely and comfortably and that services continue as smoothly as possible.
Earlier collection
For waste collection, this means that drivers and loaders will start extra early so they can complete most of their work before the hottest part of the day. That is why Avri is asking residents and businesses to place their bins by the curb before 6:30 a.m. Employees working in public spaces are also following an adjusted schedule.
Recycling centers to close earlier
The recycling centers open at 7:30 a.m. and close at 2:00 p.m.
Processing and Industrial Waste
The processing facility in Geldermalsen is open to businesses from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Businesses from which Avri collects waste Wednesday through Friday must also place their containers out by 6:30 a.m.
