The municipalities of Druten and West Maas en Waal are organizing a joint Veterans' Meeting

On Saturday, November 1, 2025, the municipalities of Druten and West Maas en Waal will organize a joint veterans' gathering for all veterans residing in these municipalities. The municipalities have personally sent an invitation to all veterans via the Veterans Institute.

Veterans who did not receive an invitation but would like to participate could register by October 23 at www.westmaasenwaal.nl/veteranen.

On Saturday, November 1, 2025, the municipalities of Druten and West Maas en Waal will organize a joint veterans' gathering for all veterans residing in these municipalities. With this event, the municipal administrations express their respect, recognition, and appreciation for the veterans' commitment to freedom and security.

The event offers veterans and their partners the opportunity to share stories, reminisce, and get to know one another. Through the Veterans Institute, the municipalities have sent personal invitations to all veterans.

Veterans who have not received an invitation but would like to participate can register by October 23 at www.westmaasenwaal.nl/veteranen.

"Our veterans deserve recognition for their dedication and service. This gathering is a wonderful opportunity to say 'thank you' in person," says Sigrid Sengers, mayor of Druten.

“We are pleased to organize this gathering together with Druten, as it allows us to create an even better program that truly honors our veterans. It provides more opportunities for encounters, recognition, and, from our side, especially appreciation for their dedication,” said Mayor Vincent van Neerbos, Mayor of West Maas en Waal.

The meeting will take place at Dorpshuis De Lier, Koningsweg 12 in Puiflijk, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and will conclude with a group lunch.
