Municipality of West Maas en Waal again main sponsor of DijkenSport

The municipality is extending its sponsorship agreement with DijkenSport through 2029. As a result, the municipality will remain the event’s main sponsor. With this extension, the municipality underscores the great importance of DijkenSport for recreation, tourism, and raising the profile of the fruit-growing region in the river area.

Over the past 25 years, DijkenSport has grown into a leading sports and recreational event that attracts thousands of participants and visitors each year. The event not only focuses on sports and physical activity, but also showcases the unique qualities of the river landscape and the fruit-growing region.

A calling card for our region

Alderman van den Boom is proud of the continued partnership: “DijkenSport is a wonderful event that gets our beautiful region moving, both literally and figuratively.
