Municipality of West Maas en Waal extends collaboration with DijkenSport.nl

On Monday, August 8, the municipality of West Maas en Waal and DijkenSport.nl signed a new agreement. The municipality will remain the main sponsor of this regional sporting event until 2025.

Every year, DijkenSport.nl organizes a multi-day sports event during the first weekend of September. Activities during this event range from walking and cycling to running and me-movering. There is something for all ages, such as an obstacle course or a gourmet fruit walk. DijkenSport.nl aims to encourage people to exercise and also to enjoy the beautiful dike landscape. On behalf of the municipality of West Maas en Waal, Alderman Ans Mol signed the new agreement. 

Councilor Ans Mol: "We are delighted to host this recurring event in our municipality. It's a wonderful opportunity to show others our unique region and enjoy the good life. We wish all participants every success and lots of fun."
