The municipality of West Maas en Waal extends cooperation with DijkenSport.nl

On Monday, August 8, the Municipality of West Maas en Waal and DijkenSport.nl signed a new agreement. The municipality will be the main sponsor of this regional sports event until 2025.

Annually, DijkenSport.nl organizes its multi-day sports event during the first weekend of September. Activities during this event range from walking to cycling, and from running to me-moving. There is something suitable for all ages, such as an obstacle run or a Burgundian fruit walk. DijkenSport.nl aims to encourage people to exercise and to enjoy the beautiful dike landscape. On behalf of the Municipality of West Maas en Waal, Alderman Ans Mol signed the new agreement. 

Alderman Mol: “We are absolutely delighted to have this annual event in our municipality. It’s a wonderful opportunity to show others our unique area and enjoy the good life. We wish all participants the best of luck and hope they have a great time.”
