The Municipality West Maas en Waal Its Partnership with DijkenSport.nl

On Monday, August 8, the municipality West Maas en Waal DijkenSport.nl signed a new agreement. The municipality will serve as the main sponsor of this regional sporting event through 2025.

Every year, DijkenSport.nl organizes its multi-day sports event during the first weekend of September. Activities during this event range from hiking to biking and from running to “me-moveren.” There’s something for all ages, such as an obstacle course or the “Bourgondian” fruit walk. DijkenSport.nl aims to encourage people to get active and to help them enjoy the beautiful dike landscape. On behalf of the municipality West Maas en Waal , Alderman Mol West Maas en Waal the new agreement. 

Alderman Mol: “We are absolutely delighted to have this annual event in our municipality. It’s a wonderful opportunity to show others our unique area and enjoy the good life. We wish all participants the best of luck and hope they have a great time.”
