Sustainability loan for non-profit organizations
Would you like to make your clubhouse more energy efficient in order to reduce your energy costs and contribute to a better environment? Consider solar panels, window or roof insulation, or heat pumps. If so, you may be eligible for a sustainability loan.
We provide this sustainability loan through the Dutch Housing Incentive Fund ( , SVn). This allows you to borrow money at a favorable interest rate to implement energy-saving measures for your association building.
Terms and Conditions
The Sustainability Incentive Loan is only granted to:
- Owners of buildings used by non-profit organizations;
- Non-profit organizations that manage and use a building, but do not necessarily own it.
- The applicant for a Sustainability Incentive Loan is a legal entity.
The Sustainability Incentive Loan is only granted for measures that demonstrably contribute to:
- a reduction in energy demand or a reduction in CO2 emissions in an existing building;
- increasing the share of renewable energy sources, or preparing for this;
- taking measures that improve the energy performance of a new building compared to the legal standard applicable at the time of application.
The Incentive Loan can never exceed the actual costs. The minimum amount is €10,000 and the maximum amount is €50,000, including VAT. The actual investment may exceed the maximum principal amount of the Incentive Loan. The closing costs for a loan application can be co-financed.
The interest rate is 1.6% at the time of establishing the regulation. The interest rate is fixed for the duration of the loan.
The term of the Incentive Loan is a maximum of 15 years.
