Village Platforms: New Websites!

The seven Village Platforms in the municipality West Maas en Waal all launched new websites.
Alderman Reuvers explains: “The Village Platforms worked on this together, resulting in a consistent, modern design for each platform. What a wonderful sense of unity! The platforms play a unifying role in their villages. That means they need to be visible. This step helps tremendously in that regard.”

Each Village Platform posts local news on its own website, ensuring that the content is tailored specifically to that village. At the same time, all residents of the municipality can see at a glance what’s going on. This fosters even greater community connection.

Thea Siemens, from OnsBep (the Boven-Leeuwen village platform), says: “All residents can now get involved in what’s on the website. After all, the website was created for, but also by, the residents. Without input, there’s no content.”
