Village Platforms: New Websites!
The seven Village Platforms in the municipality of West Maas en Waal have all launched new websites.
Alderman Rob Reuvers states: “The Village Platforms have collaborated on this, resulting in a uniform, modern design for each platform. What a wonderful unity! The platforms play a connecting role in their villages. This means you need to be visible. This step greatly helps with that.”
Each Village Platform posts local news on its own website, ensuring that the content is tailored specifically to that village. At the same time, all residents of the municipality can see at a glance what’s going on. This fosters even greater community connection.
Thea Siemens, from OnsBep (the Boven-Leeuwen village platform), says: “All residents can now get involved in what’s on the website. After all, the website was created for, but also by, the residents. Without input, there’s no content.”
The municipality of West Maas en Waal congratulates all Village Platforms on this great achievement.
