Digi-Language House
Digi-Taalhuis West Maas en Waal
The Digi-Taalhuis is designed for anyone who wants to improve their Dutch reading, writing, and/or speaking skills. It’s also for anyone who wants to become more digitally literate. Anyone with a language-related question is welcome to stop by. You can get information or advice on practicing with a language volunteer, on language courses, or on computer programs you can use on your own.
The Digi-Taalhuis West Maas en Waal can be found in the Beneden-Leeuwen Library, which is part of the Multifunctional Accommodation (MFA) De Rosmolen. The address is: Leliestraat 19, 6658 XN Beneden-Leeuwen
When the library is open, you can practice using digital programs on the computers at the Digi-Taalhuis.
On Mondays from 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and on Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Language Center instructor Marianne Herckenrath is available to answer questions and offer advice.
Mobile Digi-Taalhuis in your neighborhood
There is also a mobile version of the Digi-Taalhuis. The Mobile Digi-Taalhuis is a bus, equipped with teaching materials, easy-to-read books, promotional materials, and laptops, to provide courses and information on location. This way, more communities in the municipality can be reached. The bus visits the Dreumel Library at set times, is deployed at events in the municipality of West Maas en Waal, and can be booked by organizations and institutions.
If you’d like, the Mobile Digi-Taalhuis can come to your neighborhood by bus.
Would you like to organize an event yourself and make use of the Mobile Digi-Taalhuis? If so, please emailtaalhuis.westmaasenwaal@bibliotheekrivierenland.nl.
