Gelderland Day: Introduce Gelderland to Your Special Place
On Gelderland Day, Saturday, September 26, residents, business owners, clubs, and organizations will open the doors to special places throughout the province. Here in West Maas en Waal also looking for venues and initiatives that will help residents from all over Gelderland discover what makes our municipality so special.
Do you have a beautiful location, a special story, or a place that more people should know about? If so, we warmly invite you to participate.
There are several ways to participate. For example:
- A peek behind the scenes at your theater, museum, or storage facility
- A creative workshop for children and families
- Breakfast with neighbors at long tables
- A guided tour full of stories led by volunteers
- A collaboration with a local partner: a sports club, farm, library, or nature organization
So an extensive program isn't necessary. In fact, a unique location, a good story, and a warm welcome are all it takes to create a special experience.
Why participate?
- You will receive a financial contribution (€10 per participant for breakfast, or €250 for an activity).
- You'll help promote West Maas en Waal.
- You’ll introduce visitors to a special place in our municipality.
