De Brug Hospice, Home Vigil, and Respite Care Maas and Waal

What is it?

A hospice is designed to resemble a home environment as closely as possible and serves as a substitute home where people can pass away in peace and dignity.

This regional facility, located in Druten, offers support to people in the final stages of life (and their loved ones).

There are three criteria for this support:

• The guest decides for themselves whether to be admitted to the hospice.
• Life expectancy is less than 3 months.
• Medical care (family doctor) and nursing care (home care) must be arranged.
