Social assistance, volunteer work
I receive welfare benefits and want to do volunteer work.
Are you receiving social assistance benefits and would you like to do volunteer work? Then you must request permission in advance from Werkzaak Rivierenland. Your volunteer work may not interfere with a paid job.
What should I do?
You can contact Werkzaak Rivierenland or the volunteer vacancy database. They can refer you to institutions where you can do approved volunteer work.
You can also search for opportunities yourself. Once you have found volunteer work, you must contact Werkzaak Rivierenland. They will assess whether the workplace can be approved.
