Social assistance, reporting vacation
What is it?
You may travel abroad for up to 4 weeks per year (a total of 28 days) while continuing to receive your benefits. You can decide whether to take your vacation or stay abroad all at once or spread it out over time (for example, two two-week periods).
You cannot carry over unused vacation days to the following year. You are also not permitted to take vacation from two consecutive years in a row. This means, for example, that you cannot go on vacation or stay abroad from early December 2022 through late January 2023.
Will you be on vacation for more than four weeks in total, or will you be staying abroad for more than four weeks? If so, your benefits will be suspended.
What should I do?
Please notify Werkzaak Rivierenland of your vacation in advance at . If you fail to do so, you will receive a warning or a fine. Werkzaak Rivierenland may also require you to request permission for your vacation.
Are you back from vacation? Please let Werkzaak Rivierenland know as soon as possible.
