Residents of 't Veerhuis Wamel temporarily relocated elsewhere

The 55 Ukrainians staying at 't Veerhuis in Wamel will be temporarily relocated this weekend. This is due to the high water levels that are expected.
The Veerweg is expected to flood again. This means that 't Veerhuis will be surrounded by water. Residents will be accommodated at De Twee Linden in Beneden-Leeuwen and Moeke Mooren in Appeltern.
The Rivierenland Water Authority expects the water to recede again in the course of next week. Residents will then be able to return to 't Veerhuis.
