Protected animals, nuisance

What is it?

Sometimes people are bothered by animals in their environment. Are you experiencing nuisance or damage caused by a protected animal? You are not allowed to chase away, capture, or kill protected animals. You are also not allowed to disturb or damage the habitats of these animals, such as their nests or burrows. Protected animals that cause nuisance or damage include bats and stone martens.
