Renovation of Begoniastraat in Beneden-Leeuwen
Begoniastraat in Beneden-Leeuwen in need of a facelift.
The main services we provide:
- replacement of the sewer system
- Installing a new sewer line to drain rainwater
- replacing the plants in the flower beds
- planting new and more trees
- repairing the road surface while reusing the existing pavers as much as possible
- repairing the sidewalks with new tiles
Preliminary design
We want to make some changes to the street.
- We are building a sidewalk along the entire length of the street on both sides
- We are removing the narrow sections of the street
- The number of parking spaces will remain the same. The layout will change. Parking will be perpendicular on grass pavers and parallel in trapezoidal spaces.
- We build trapezoidal driveways. This makes it easier to drive in and out.
The preliminary design drawing shows what this will look like. By the way, the street will remain one-way.

Next steps
We compile the feedback forms into a feedback report. In this report, we also include our response to all comments. Using the information from this feedback report, we will turn the preliminary design into a final design.
The response memorandum and the final drawing will be posted on this page on Monday, June 22.
We expect to begin the work after the construction industry’s summer break. You will receive a letter about this by then.
