Anti-discrimination provision
What is it?
Discrimination is prohibited
No one wants to be excluded or treated unfairly, especially if it is because of your origin, skin color, age, disability, religion, gender, or sexual orientation. Being allowed to participate and be who you are is essential. Whether it happens when applying for a job, at school, in the workplace, while playing sports, or just on the street, discrimination is unacceptable everywhere. Discrimination is also prohibited by law: this is stated in Article 1 of our constitution, in the Penal Code, and in equal treatment legislation.
Reporting discrimination helps
Discrimination does not stop on its own. Unfortunately, most people who experience discrimination do not report it! But reporting is important to stop discrimination. Make it visible, make a difference, and report it! Even if you witness discrimination or want to remain anonymous.
Those who report discrimination can count on independent advice and support if they wish.
