Waste collection fee

What is it?

You contribute to the collection and processing of household waste. You will receive a waste collection fee bill for this. You are required to pay this waste collection fee, even if you never put out your trash.

The BSR is responsible for levying and collecting the waste collection levy for the municipality of West Maas en Waal.

What should I do?

You pay the waste collection fee.

File an objection

If you disagree with the tax assessment, you can file an objection. Include the assessment number in your objection and explain why you disagree.

Please send your objection to the municipality within 6 weeks of the date shown on the tax assessment notice.

The BSR ( ) is responsible for assessing and collecting our waste disposal fees. You must therefore submit your appeal to them.

How much does it cost?

In addition to a base fee that is the same for everyone, you pay each time you put out your residual waste. If you sort your waste properly, you’ll have less residual waste to throw away, and we can reuse the sorted waste streams.
