Waste collection tax
What is it?
You contribute to the collection and processing of household waste. You will receive a waste collection tax bill for this. You are obliged to pay this waste collection tax, even if you never put out your waste.
The BSR ( ) is responsible for levying and collecting waste collection fees for the municipality of West Maas en Waal.
What should I do?
You pay the waste collection tax.
Lodge an objection
If you disagree with the assessment, you can lodge an objection. Include the assessment number in your objection and explain why you disagree.
Send your objection to the municipality within 6 weeks of the date on the tax assessment notice.

What does it cost?
In addition to a basic amount that is the same for everyone, you pay each time you dispose of residual waste. If you separate your waste properly, you will have less residual waste to dispose of and we will be able to reuse the separated waste types.
