Waste, small chemical waste
What is it?
- Small chemical waste (KCA) is waste that cannot be disposed of with regular waste. Examples of small chemical waste include batteries, paint products, and lamps.
- As a private individual, you can dispose of this waste separately at the municipal mini recycling center or at the Avri recycling centers.
You can find more information about KCA on the Avri website .
How does it work?
You can often dispose of your small chemical waste at other locations as well. For example, batteries can be disposed of at supermarkets and hardware stores, syringes and medicines at pharmacies, and electrical appliances at electronics stores.
Companies may only dispose of chemical waste if they have an environmental permit to do so.
