An AED can assist with CPR.

AED stands for Automated External Defibrillator. An AED can “reset” the heart in the event of cardiac fibrillation. During fibrillation, the heart quivers and stops pumping blood. The reset can correct this, allowing the heart to resume a normal rhythm. If CPR is performed within 6 minutes and an AED can be used, the victim’s chances of survival increase.
Fortunately, more and more companies, sports clubs, and individuals/neighbors are purchasing AEDs, and many people are taking CPR courses.

You can register your AED withHartslagNu at. They will then add the AED to the national AED network. Lay responders can use the app to see which AEDs are nearby. They can retrieve one and begin CPR as quickly as possible.
