Address Verification
What is it?
You can request an address search from the municipality in the following cases:
- Someone is registered at your address but does not live there.
- Someone has a mailing address at your address, and you can no longer reach that person.
- Someone has a mailing address at your address, and you want to revoke your permission for that mailing address.

You can request an address verification if you are the owner, tenant, or co-resident of the property. You can also withdraw your request for an address verification.
What should I do?
You request an address search from the municipality.
What do I need?
- Your valid ID.
- Proof that you are the owner or tenant of the property, such as a purchase agreement or lease.
- Do you know who this person is? If so, please provide their name, date of birth, and phone number.

How long does it take?
- An address search takes up to 12 weeks.
- You will be notified of the results of the examination.
- Following the investigation, the municipality may remove someone from the registry or register them at a new address.
