This is how I like to live! The 'Live-Event' of West Maas en Waal
Living well, residing comfortably, and helping each other a little: isn't that what we all want? In West Maas en Waal, we do that together.
On Saturday, October 25, 2025, the second edition of “This Is How I Like to Live!” took place at MFA De Rosmolen. During this lifestyle event, residents discovered how to live comfortably, healthily, and independently in their own village—from assistance with household tasks to fun activities in the neighborhood. Organizations and businesses from our municipality showcased the facilities and services available to support residents. They also highlighted the initiatives and activities designed to help people live comfortably and build a close-knit community together.
An inspiring afternoon
There’s often more to it than you think, and we proved it! Among other things, visitors could:
- Discover features that make living at home more enjoyable;
- Discover activities that help us enjoy life together;
- Get practical tips and connect with local organizations;
- Experience a VR experience;
- Participating in physical activities and relaxation sessions;
- Take a short coaching session;
- Participating in games and other activities;
- Meeting old friends or getting to know new people;
- Enjoy a cup of coffee at Brasserie De Rosmolen.
We look back on a wonderful and rewarding afternoon filled with connections, inspiration, and experiences.
