Meetings with like-minded people in a safe environment
Do you need to talk about mental health? The Ixta Noa drop-in center in Beneden-Leeuwen is intended for people who are dealing with mental health issues and are looking for a safe place to meet others.
It can be helpful to be around other people, enjoying a cup of coffee and good company.
There is room to be yourself. You can share stories about what concerns you in your daily life and find recognition among fellow sufferers. Of course, you decide for yourself what you want to share and what you don't. Two experts by experience are present. They are there for you and supervise the drop-in session.
Participation is free and does not require a referral.
No referral is required to participate, and there are no costs involved. You can drop in during opening hours without any obligation. You can also register yourself by sending an email to rivierenland@ixtanoa.nl.
Join our themed meetings
Ixta Noa also regularly organizes themed meetings. These are usually held in the evening. You will discuss a topic related to mental health, and an expert will share his or her story related to this topic. Would you like to stay informed about the themed meetings? About Ixta Noa

Ixta Noa is a national organization dedicated to helping people who are experiencing mental imbalance caused by emotions, loneliness, or a mental disorder, for example. Ixta Noa works with experts by experience: people like you and me, people who recognize your feelings, doubts, and emotions. A listening ear and experience with recovery can sometimes make all the difference.
When can you visit Ixta Noa?
The walk-in session takes place every first Wednesday of the month from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Museum Tweestromenland.
