What does this zoning plan regulate?
The zoning plan makes it possible to build 65 homes on Industrieweg in Dreumel. The plan area is located on the west side of the center of Dreumel and lies in the transition zone between the village and the outskirts, on the Waaldijk. In the current situation, the plan area is a small-scale business cluster. In order to enable the residential development, the possible uses of the business on the Waaldijk will be restricted.
What is the image quality plan about?
The Industrieweg, Dreumel visual quality plan sets out the preconditions for the desired spatial development, with an emphasis on the appearance of the homes to be built. Together with the zoning plan, the visual quality plan is the legal document that outlines the framework for the construction and design plans for this area.
The visual quality plan is the assessment framework used in municipal and aesthetic assessments of building and design plans, as well as for the design of public spaces. The visual quality plan becomes part of the aesthetic policy document, which makes it binding for all parties. Under the direction of the image quality plan, (private) initiators know in advance what quality requirements are set for the development of buildings and public spaces.
How can you view the approved zoning plan?
You can view the adopted zoning plan from March 13, 2025, to April 23, 2025, during opening hours at the Customer Contact Center of the town hall. Please remember to make an appointment for this.

You may file an appeal until April 24, 2025.
If you disagree with the municipal council's decision and are an interested party, you can lodge an appeal. Appeals should be lodged with the Administrative Law Division of the Council of State, PO Box 20019, 2500 EA The Hague.
You may also submit a request for provisional relief within the time limit. You can do this by contacting the Chair of this administrative law division.
The zoning plan will take effect on April 25, 2025.
Only in the event of a request for provisional relief will the zoning plan not take effect. In that case, the administrative law division will first rule on the request for provisional relief.
The image quality plan will take effect on Thursday, March 13, 2025.
The image quality plan has the legal status of a policy rule. Pursuant to Article 8:3(1) of the General Administrative Law Act, no objection or appeal may be lodged against the decision to adopt the plan. The image quality plan will enter into force on the first day after publication and will become part of the Building Regulations.
