Approved Visual Quality Plan for Appelhoek Phase 1b

What is the Visual Quality Plan about?

The visual quality plan sets out the parameters for the desired spatial development, with a focus on the design of the homes to be built. Together with the zoning plan, the visual quality plan is the legal document that outlines the framework for the construction and development plans for this area.

The visual quality plan serves as the assessment framework for municipal and architectural reviews of building and design plans, as well as for the design of public spaces. The visual quality plan becomes part of the architectural guidelines, thereby making it binding on all parties. Under the guidance of the visual quality plan, (private) developers know in advance what quality requirements apply to the design of the buildings and public spaces.
