20,000th resident of West Maas en Waal born

The municipality of West Maas en Waal has had 20,000 residents since November 25. On that day, Sylvian Jan-Willem Bernardus Avôt was born. A milestone for our municipality. Sylvian receives this special title; he is the son of Daniëlle Avôt and Mike van Dooijeweert and the younger brother of Jayson.
The number of residents in the municipality of West Maas en Waal has grown by 3,171 people since its establishment in 1984. From 16,829 in 1984 to 20,000 now, which is 119%.
Mayor Vincent van Neerbos paid a visit to Sylvian. Armed with a special stuffed animal and a large bouquet of flowers, he arrived at the young family’s home in Boven-Leeuwen. We wish Sylvian’s parents—and, of course, his big brother—much happiness and good health.
