20,000th resident of West Maas en Waal born

Since November 25, the municipality of West Maas en Waal has had 20,000 residents. That was the day Sylvian Jan-Willem Bernardus Avôt was born. A milestone for our municipality. Sylvian has been given this special title. He is the son of Daniëlle Avôt and Mike van Dooijeweert and the little brother of Jayson.
The population of the municipality of West Maas en Waal has grown by 3,171 people since its establishment in 1984. From 16,829 in 1984 to 20,000 today, that is an increase of 119%.
Mayor Vincent van Neerbos visited Sylvian. He arrived at the young family's home in Boven-Leeuwen with a special cuddly toy and a large bouquet of flowers. We wish Sylvian's parents and, of course, his big brother much happiness and good health.
