Election advertising sandwich boards notification

Sandwich and/or triangular signs

1. Sandwich boards and/or triangular signs may be placed in the period from the day after the nomination of candidates until a maximum of one week after election day.
2. Sandwich boards and/or triangular signs may be placed in every center of the municipality of West Maas en Waal.
3. No sandwich boards and/or triangular signs may be placed outside built-up areas.
4. Sandwich and/or triangular signs may only be placed on roads that are under municipal management.
5. Sandwich and/or triangular signs may only be placed on lampposts (without traffic signs), provided that this does not damage them in any way.
6. Insofar as sandwich and/or triangular signs are placed around trees owned by private individuals, this must be done with the consent of the rightful owner(s).
7. No sandwich and/or triangular signs may be placed in front of or around traffic signs, lampposts with traffic signs, or traffic lights.
8. The sandwich and/or triangular signs must be placed in such a way that they do not obstruct traffic or visibility and that pedestrians, strollers, walkers, wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and similar devices can continue to pass freely on the sidewalk.
9. Sandwich boards and/or triangular signs may not be placed within five meters of roundabouts, intersections, or road junctions.
10. A maximum of one sandwich board and/or triangular sign may be placed on a lamppost.
11. When placing sandwich and/or triangular signs, the necessary care must be taken.
12. Sandwich boards and/or triangular signs may not contain commercial advertising.
