Apply for a sandwich board permit (DigiD required)

You need a permit to place triangular or sandwich boards, for example to announce an event or open day at your company.

There are conditions attached to this.

• A maximum of 20 signs may be placed in the municipality and a maximum of 14 days before the event.
• All instructions from police officers and municipal officials must be followed immediately.
• The signs may not be attached to buildings or structures in any way.
• No signs may be attached to trees or traffic light poles. Signs may only be attached to steel and aluminum poles. Traffic and street signs must remain sufficiently visible.
• The signs must be placed at least 30 cm from the edge of the roadway or bicycle path in all circumstances.
• For traffic safety reasons, it is not permitted to place signs at road intersections, within 30 meters of a corner, or within 30 meters of a pedestrian or bicycle crossing.
• The placement of the signs must not compromise traffic safety.
• The signs must be removed immediately after the permit period has expired.
• If the signs have not been removed, this will be done at the applicant's expense.
